Early family history in St. Ignace are a vital means of acquiring clues to our past.
Since early families were all involved in the fur trade, it is through their discovery that
we find the history of our area.
MHS is launching this program to discover that early history and to preserve it, and make it known through publications.
Anyone interested in finding out about their genealogies is welcome to come!
Anyone who already knows about their early families are welcome to share with others here!
